On KBC, Amitabh Bachchan said he is a Randeep Hooda fan. See how the Highway star reacted

Randeep Hooda, who recently met Amitabh Bachchan during an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 11, took to Instagram to remember his own fan-boy moment from the show.

is on cloud nine after Bollywood’s megastar told him he is a “fan of his work” on the popular TV show, 11. Hooda, who will be on the hot-seat on Bachchan’s show on September 13, recently took to Instagram to share a selfie with him, taken on the sets of .

In his post, Hooda praised Big B for his contribution to Indian cinema and thanked him for always being an inspiration. From his performances in films to the sound of his voice, Hooda detailed how Amitabh Bachchan’s presence inspires awe in him. Naturally, then Randeep Hooda was completely fan-boying on the sets of KBC with Amitabh Bachchan.

Hooda wrote, “Always an inspiring and humbling experience to meet the one and only @amitabhbachchan saab. He’s such a huge part of our collective consciousness as a nation. His performances, his philanthropy, his personality, his untiring dedication to work and of course the sound of his voice are unparalleled.”

But the best part was receiving a compliment from Big B himself.

“…when he says “I’m a fan of your work” you really don’t know where to look and what to say.. giddy .. thank you sir for the pat on the back,” read an excerpt from his Instagram post.

We can completely relate to Randeep Hooda’s reaction to Amitabh Bachchan’s compliment. That’s exactly how we’d react if a senior in our field appreciated our efforts at the workplace. Isn’t it?

Randeep Hooda, who is known for his stellar performances in films like Highway (2014), Sarabjit (2016), Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai (2010), Sultan (2016) among many others, will now be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film Aaj Kal, which stars Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles.

The film is a sequel to the Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer Love Aaj Kal, which hit the screens in 2009.

Randeep Hooda made his Bollywood debut in Mira Nair’s directorial venture Monsoon Wedding, which released in 2001.
