TV actress Krystle D’Souza has joined Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer Chehre. The development comes two weeks after the makers of the film announced that Kriti Kharbanda, who was initially the lead in Chehre along with Big B and Emraan, is no longer a part of it.
Krystle, who is known for TV shows like Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, took to Twitter to share the news of her Bollywood debut with her fans. In her tweet, the actress called Chehre “special” and said that she “couldn’t have asked for anything more” than to work with the industry’s best.

In the picture, she can be seen posing with Emraan Hashmi along with the makers of the film. The one person missing from the frame, however, is Amitabh Bachchan. For the unversed, Amitabh is currently shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra in Manali, along with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
This is for the first time that Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan will come together for a project. Rumi Jaffrey is directing the film. Anand Pandit is the producer.

Earlier, Kriti Kharbanda was supposed to star in Chehre. In fact, she had already shot her portions with Amitabh Bachchan.
But soon, reports of fall out between Kriti and the producers came out. The official Twitter handle of Anand Pandit Motion Pictures clarified that the two have “mutually agreed to part ways on a cordial and professional note.”
Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, and Krystle D’Souza, Chehre also stars Rhea Chakraborty and Siddhanth Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film is a thriller in which Amitabh will be playing the role of a lawyer once again after Pink (2016) and Badla (2019). Emraan will essay the role of a business tycoon.
Krystle D’Souza, who has now bagged her first film, made her acting debut in Ekta Kapoor’s Kahe Na Kahe (2007). She has also worked in serials like Kya Dill Mein Hai, Kasturi, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, among others. D’Souza is currently seen in Fittrat, a television series by ALT Balaji, opposite Aditya Seal.
